About Rugby Atlas
Rugby Atlas is built by one person in Cambridge, UK, who plays rugby and got tired of what searching for rugby kit returns: buying guides written years ago, listicles generated by AI, and specs that don't match the boot in the box.
The fix isn't another blog. It's a database. Rugby Atlas tracks rugby equipment sold in the UK as structured, sourced, dated facts, verified by a human before anything publishes and re-checked on a schedule afterwards. Pages are rendered from that database, so when the data updates, every page updates with it. The full rules are on themethodology page.
It starts with boots, because that's where the need is worst. Balls, shirts and headguards follow, each category only opening once the last is genuinely done. The longer ambition is a structured atlas of UK rugby: equipment, clubs, and the university game.
